This year, in conjunction with NUS Career Fair, Engin Career Talk Series will take place from 30 Jan 2012 to 3 Feb 2012! In this week-long event, industry leaders, HR personnel and Engineering seniors will be down to answer all your queries! Grab the opportunity to understand more about the industries you are interested in and impress your potential employers and colleagues!
List of events:
1) Discussion forums
• Engineering Alumni Forum
o Forum-style discussion that allows you to pose questions to engineering alumni from NUS who are currently working in the Engineering Field or management fields.
• Engineering HR Forum
o Forum-style discussion that allows you to pose questions to HR personnel from Engineering companies who are willing to share with you what they are looking out for when hiring.
2) Seniors Sharing Session
• Year 4 Undergraduates who have received job offers in different job fields will share with you their experiences and learning points!
3) Talks by companies
• Company representatives will come down to give information about the career opportunities in their company.

Engin Day 2012
ENGINEERS!
NUS Students Engineering Club will be holding its flagship event, ENGIN DAY on 19Jan, 2012. The theme for this year will be Chinese New Year.
“ENGIN DAY” is held every year with the objectives of Engaging Engineering students, faculty staff and alumni, Encouraging interaction between students, faculty staff and alumni & promoting the Continuity of Engin Day evolving into a flagship event for Faculty of Engineering.
This exciting event will mainly be a bazaar with an array of food and games. There will also be stage activities and performances throughout the event. Winners of the stage activities stand to win prizes for themselves and points for their department. At the end of the event, the department with the highest score wins the ENGIN DAY BEST DEPARTMENT SHIELD.
Dinner will be served at night and there will be a ‘lou hei’ session for all faculty members to wish everyone good luck for the coming year! Following that, there will be free beer for everyone (limited to one can per person).
Engin got talent
For those of you who have special talents, here’s your chance to showcase them to win exciting prizes and points for your department! The top prize is a brand new sony PSP Slim! You have 5 minutes to showcase any type of talent you have. It can be a solo performance or in groups.

As one of our stage games will be “Professors Challenge”, we welcome you to ask any questions which you have for the professors to answer. Bazaar Stalls
On that day itself, Engin Club Sub-Committees will also be setting up Bazaar stalls. Rag committee will be selling Lao Ban Dau Huay. Sports Committee will be having IFG Sign Up booth. Welfare Committee will be giving out free muffins. Biz Committee will be selling Engin Merchandise. Engin Camp and Oweek Committee will be setting up fun games stalls!
So do come down and join in the fun!!!
